Certified Professional Consultant in Home Inspecting

My name is James Lewczyk, I am a certified professional consultant in home inspections.

I moved to North Carolina from New York in hopes to better myself and have a new experience. I have lived here since 2010 with my wife and kids. Now that my daughter is done with college I decided I needed a change for some extra income. I have been working in home construction since I was in my twenties and have learned a lot through the years. I am always looking out for people in need and if you call me I am there. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I chose to become a Home Inspector, so I can make sure your homes are in tip top shape and safe for you to live in.

Pre-Dry Wall Inspection

Pre-Dry inspections is a walk through to make sure there is no defects that would cause a problem once the drywall is up. This in-progress or construction-phase inspection is useful because drywall can obscure some aspects of the interior and make identifying or fixing any problems both difficult and expensive, once the new home is completely finished.

Pre-Listing Home Inspection

The Pre-Listing program allows for an open and honest, less stressful transaction for both parties. Having a Pre-Listing Inspection creates happier clients and smoother transactions, with fewer negotiations, and dramatically reduces the chance of the deal falling through.

11th Month Inspection

The 11-month warranty inspection is an inspection just before the builder’s warranty expires. In some cases, the warranty might extend until 2 years. This inspection is critical to finding defects in the home that might have happened during the home ownership process or were not found before.

Pest Inspection

A pest inspection includes a search for bugs and other creatures that can cause damage to the structure of your property, a health hazard or both. One common structural concern is caused by termites that get their nutrients from the wood in your house, but various other bugs and rodents can also cause concerns.

Radon Test

Getting your home tested for radon can help protect you and your family from a key cause of lung cancer. Exposure to radon accounts for about 21,000 deaths from lung cancer each year according to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

New Home Inspection

The inspection gives an overall picture of the condition and safety of the home, so you can understand what repairs may be needed to get things into good shape. As the buyer, you can attend the home inspection and follow the inspector through the house, asking questions as you go.
